Left Tabs - Companies, Strategies and Indicators

"Companies" tab displays the list of currently researched companies. You may load stock symbols to this list from a data file via "File"->"Open" command or add symbols to this list by clicking on icon.
Company name is automatically resolved using a stock symbols database that comes with Stock Predictor. On a rare occasion a when a company name can not be resolved or a company is listed on an international stocks exchange a stock symbol is displayed instead of the company name.

"Prediction" column shows a result of the calculation of a selected strategy applied to each stock. "BUY" means that a buy signal was generated on a current day at a current price, "SELL" mean that a sell signal was generated on a current day at a current price. "HOLD" means that going back in time from the current day the last signal generated was a "BUY". "AVOID" means that going back in time from the current day the last signal generated was a "SELL" signal.

"Strategies" lists all predefined technical stock trading strategies that are built in Stock Predictor. You may choose a strategy of your choice using "Choose Strategy Selector". Note that the last listed strategy is "Combined Strategy" allowing you to create and run over 500 custom strategies.
"Strategy Description" shows a formula behind a selected strategy. This is a mere symbolic description. Though you may edit this field it will not affect the strategy logic.

Strategy Parameters are the parameter values that are used with a selected strategy. You may edit these values and "fine tune" them for a single stock or a group of stocks optimizing the trading performance.

"Apply to" selector shows whether to run a strategy for a currently selected stock or for all stocks listed under "Companies" tab.

Finally "Run Strategy" button runs the selected strategy.

"Indicators" tab allows you to change chart settings. You may set chart type: Standard(Linear), High-Low-Close or CandleStick, select price indicators or technical indicators for the top and bottom chart panels.
Once you have chosen the chart settings you may click "Apply Settings" button at the bottom of the panel to update the chart.
