Intraday and International Quotes
Historical Quotes Downloader downloads intraday 1-minute and 5-minute bars as well as daily data. International exchanges are available from the Yahoo servers by adding the exchange suffix to the ticker.
Downloading intraday data
- On the Download Settings tab, select Intraday under Quotes Type.
- Select a Data Server and a Data Range.
- Set the Time Format (HHMM or HH:MM), then switch to the Portfolio tab and click Update.

Free servers keep only a few days of intraday history. To build a longer history, download automatically every day and keep each day’s files in a separate folder or under a different file extension. For 15-minute, 30-minute or hourly bars, load the 1-minute or 5-minute file into your charting program and use its timeframe setting.
International symbols
Add the exchange suffix to the company’s local ticker. These symbols work only with 3. Yahoo API (EOD) or 2. Yahoo Finance (Intraday); the other servers cover US-listed symbols only.

The suffix for each exchange is listed on Supported exchanges. You can also look the company up on finance.yahoo.com and use the symbol shown there.
