Dow Jones Industrial Average Components
The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) tracks 30 large, well-known U.S. companies. Created by Charles Dow in 1896, it is the most widely quoted U.S. stock market average. It is price-weighted, so higher-priced stocks move the average more than lower-priced ones.
