About Predictive Oncology Inc
Predictive Oncology Inc. used artificial intelligence to help discover and develop cancer treatments. It had two segments, named Pittsburgh and Eagan.
The Pittsburgh segment applied AI to the company's own biobank of more than 150,000 tumor samples and built proprietary 3D culture models for drug development. The Eagan segment made the FDA-cleared STREAMWAY System and related products, which automate the handling and disposal of medical fluid waste.
The company worked with Every Cure to find and rank drugs that could be repurposed. Known as Precision Therapeutics Inc. until June 2019, it was incorporated in 2002 and based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Its stock was delisted from the Nasdaq in December 2025, with a final trade on December 16, 2025 at $5.48.
