iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB)

The iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) is an exchange-traded product sponsored by BlackRock under its iShares brand. The trust holds ether, the native cryptocurrency of the Ethereum network, and is designed to reflect the price of ether while also capturing rewards from staking.

Unlike earlier spot ether products, the trust stakes a portion of its ether holdings through third-party staking providers, helping to validate transactions on the Ethereum proof-of-stake network. Rewards earned from this activity accrue to the trust and can be passed through to shareholders, net of fees. Ether is held with an institutional custodian.

The structure gives brokerage-account investors exposure to ether and its staking yield without having to hold tokens, manage wallets or run validators directly. The trust is not an investment company registered under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
