iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA)

The iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) is an exchange-traded product from BlackRock's iShares that provides exposure to the price of ether, the native digital asset of the Ethereum blockchain.

The trust holds ether directly, with the assets held by a custodian, and seeks to reflect the performance of the ether price, less expenses. It is a passive vehicle that does not use leverage or derivatives, and it allows investors to gain ether exposure through a conventional brokerage account.

The trust launched in July 2024 as one of the first U.S. spot ether ETFs and trades on the Nasdaq.
