About Tupperware Brands Corporation
Tupperware Brands was a consumer products company selling in Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas. Under the Tupperware name it made kitchen and home products for preparing, storing and serving food. The line also included cookware, knives, microwave items, microfiber textiles, water filtration products and on-the-go items.
It sold in about 70 countries, mostly through an independent sales force of distributors, directors, managers and dealers. Known as Tupperware Corporation until December 2005, the company was founded in 1946 and based in Orlando, Florida.
Tupperware filed for Chapter 11 in Delaware on September 17, 2024, and its plan was approved as a Chapter 11 liquidation on May 9, 2025. The stock was delisted from the NYSE in June 2025, with the final trade on June 10, 2025 at $0.02.
