About Procaps Group SA
Procaps Group S.A. developed, produced and marketed pharmaceutical products around the world. Its branded prescription drugs covered areas such as women's health, pain relief, skin care, digestive health, growth and development, cardiology, eye care, the central nervous system and respiratory conditions.
For hospitals, it supplied antibiotics, blood clot treatments, protective equipment, immunosuppressants, cancer drugs and painkillers. Its over-the-counter range spanned about eight therapeutic areas, including digestive health, skin care, cough and cold, pain relief, urology, and vitamins, minerals and supplements.
It also sold diabetes products such as glucose meters, telemonitoring tools, oral anti-diabetics and insulin delivery systems, plus cosmeceuticals. In addition, it developed and manufactured drugs for other pharmaceutical firms, with a specialty in soft gelatin capsules.
Founded in 1977 and based in Luxembourg, the company was delisted from the Nasdaq in July 2025, with the last trade on July 23, 2025 at $1.10.
