About OncoCyte Corp
OncoCyte was a precision diagnostics company in the U.S. and abroad. It developed and sold lab-developed tests as well as test kits for research and clinical use.
In cancer, it was developing DetermaCNI, a blood test meant to spot disease progression soon after one treatment cycle, and DetermaIO, a gene expression test meant to predict response to immunotherapy. In transplants, it offered VitaGraft Kidney and VitaGraft Liver, blood tests that measure donor-derived cell-free DNA, and GraftAssure, a dd-cfDNA test using droplet digital PCR and 48 preset SNPs.
The company also provided biomarker discovery, assay development and clinical trial support services. It worked with Bio-Rad Laboratories on transplant test kits that use Bio-Rad's ddPCR instruments. OncoCyte was incorporated in 2009 and based in Irvine, California. Its shares left the Nasdaq in June 2025, with the final trade on June 18, 2025 at $3.16.
