Franklin Crypto Index ETF (EZPZ)

The Franklin Crypto Index ETF (EZPZ) is a passively managed exchange-traded product from Franklin Templeton that holds a basket of major cryptocurrencies.

The fund tracks the CF Institutional Digital Asset Index, a market-capitalization-weighted benchmark of large, liquid digital assets. Bitcoin and ether make up most of the portfolio, and the fund can also hold other eligible assets such as XRP, Solana and other large tokens as they qualify for the index.

EZPZ launched in 2025, initially holding only bitcoin and ether, and broadened its holdings as additional crypto assets became eligible. The fund holds the cryptocurrencies themselves through an institutional custodian, giving investors diversified crypto exposure in a single brokerage-account holding.
