About Checkpoint Therapeutics Inc
Checkpoint Therapeutics was a commercial-stage immunotherapy and targeted oncology company. It acquired, developed and sold treatments for patients with solid tumor cancers in the U.S. and abroad.
Its lead antibody was UNLOXCYT, studied in a Phase 1 trial in certain recurrent or metastatic cancers. Other programs included Olafertinib in Phase 3 for metastatic non-small cell lung cancer, CK-103 for advanced solid tumors, and preclinical candidates CK-302 and an anti-CAIX antibody.
The company had license and collaboration deals with Adimab for Cosibelimab, NeuPharma for Olafertinib, and Jubilant Biosys for BET bromodomain inhibitors, plus a collaboration with Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. It was incorporated in 2014 and based in Waltham, Massachusetts.
As of May 30, 2025, Checkpoint became a subsidiary of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. Its stock was delisted from the Nasdaq in May 2025, with the last trade on May 28, 2025 at $4.23.
