Avid Bioservices was a contract development and manufacturing organization serving U.S. biotech and biopharma companies. It handled process development and manufacturing of biologics under current good manufacturing practice, for both clinical trials and commercial supply.
Services included drug substance production, bulk packaging, release and stability testing, regulatory filing support, upstream and downstream process work, analytical method development, cell line development, and testing and characterization. Formerly Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, it became Avid Bioservices in January 2018.
