About Affimed NV
Affimed was a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing cancer immunotherapies in the U.S. and Germany. Its AFM13 had finished Phase 2 testing in CD30-positive lymphoma and a Phase IIb study in peripheral T-cell lymphoma, and had a Phase Ib trial in Hodgkin lymphoma.
AFM24, a bispecific innate cell engager binding EGFR and CD16A, was in Phase IIa for advanced cancers. AFM28 (for an acute myeloid indication) and AFM32 (for solid tumors) were preclinical innate cell engager (ICE) candidates.
The company partnered with Artiva Biotherapeutics on combining acimtamig with AlloNK, with Roivant Sciences on new ICE molecules including AFM32, and with Genentech on NK cell engager therapies. Formerly Affimed Therapeutics B.V., it became Affimed N.V. in October 2014.
It was founded in 2000 and based in Mannheim, Germany. Its stock was delisted from the Nasdaq in May 2025, with the last trade on May 19, 2025 at $0.18.
