OMNIQ Corp. (OMQS)

OMNIQ Corp. provides artificial intelligence based machine vision and supply chain technology. Its products include license plate and vehicle recognition systems used in parking, traffic management, homeland security and public safety. The company also resells and integrates barcode scanners, mobile computers and data collection hardware for retailers, warehouses and healthcare customers. Much of its revenue comes from these supply chain integration services.

The company was previously known as Quest Solution, Inc., a Salt Lake City based integrator of enterprise mobility hardware. Quest Solution expanded through acquisitions and in 2019 bought Shelf Nine and other assets while rebranding itself as OMNIQ Corp. The new name reflected a strategy centered on AI vision software rather than hardware resale. OMNIQ listed its common stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the symbol OMQS.

In the following years OMNIQ pursued contracts for smart parking, access control and safe school systems. It also acquired Israel-based HTS Image Processing, adding vehicle recognition technology. Despite growing sales, the company posted repeated losses and carried significant debt. Its market value fell sharply as investors focused on profitability.

Nasdaq determined that OMNIQ had failed to meet the $35 million minimum market value of listed securities requirement, and its shares were delisted effective May 7, 2024. In June 2024 the company confirmed that its stock had transitioned to OTC Pink, still under the symbol OMQS. OMNIQ continued filing reports with the SEC after the move. The stock no longer trades on a national exchange.
