About Inari Medical Inc
Inari Medical made minimally invasive, catheter-based devices that mechanically remove blood clots, for use in the U.S. Its ClotTriever system removed large clots from large veins to treat deep vein thrombosis. The FlowTriever system used large-bore aspiration and mechanical removal for pulmonary embolism and other complex clot cases.
It also sold the InThrill system for clots in small vessels and the LimFlow system for patients with chronic limb-threatening ischemia who had no other revascularization option and faced major amputation risk. Users were interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons.
Formerly Inceptus Newco1 Inc., it took the Inari name in September 2013. It was incorporated in 2011 and based in Irvine, California. Stryker (SYK) acquired it on February 19, 2025 for $80.00 in cash per share, and the last trade was on February 18, 2025 at $79.97.
