About H&E Equipment Services Inc
H&E Equipment Services was an integrated equipment services company in the U.S. and abroad. It had four segments: Equipment Rentals; Sales of Rental Equipment; Sales of New Equipment; and Parts, Service and Other Revenues.
It rented construction and industrial equipment by the day, week or month, and sold used units from its fleet. A sales team sold new construction equipment. The parts and service segment kept a parts inventory, sold parts, and repaired both its own fleet and customer machines at its sites or on location.
The rental fleet included aerial work platforms, earthmoving and material handling equipment, and other general and specialty gear. Customers included contractors, manufacturers, utilities, municipalities and other industrial users. The company was founded in 1961 and based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Herc (HRI) acquired H&E on June 2, 2025, after which it became a subsidiary of Herc Holdings Inc. The last trade was on May 29, 2025 at $95.24.
