About STRATS Trust for United States Cellular Corp. Securities, Series 2004-6

GJH is a STRATS trust, a structured product created by Synthetic Fixed-Income Securities, Inc. The trust holds senior debt issued by United States Cellular Corporation and passes the interest through to holders of its listed certificates. The Class A-1 certificates pay a fixed 6.375% a year on a $25.00 face amount, with payments in June and December. Because they trade in $25 units on the NYSE, they behave much like a baby bond.

The trust was set up and listed in May 2004, when many brokers repackaged institutional corporate bonds into retail-sized certificates. Holders depend on the underlying UScellular debt for both income and repayment. The certificates have kept paying regular semiannual distributions, including in 2025, and the trust has continued to file annual reports.

United States Cellular sold its wireless operations to T-Mobile in August 2025 and was renamed Array Digital Infrastructure, keeping its tower business. That change matters for GJH because the credit standing of the underlying issuer affects the certificates' value. Investors should check the trust's filings for the current status of the underlying notes and any call or redemption notices.
