GigCapital9 Corp. (GIX)

GigCapital9 Corp. is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company, created to complete a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or similar business combination with one or more operating businesses. Until a transaction is completed, it has no operations and holds its offering proceeds in a trust account.

The company is sponsored within the GigCapital Global group founded by Dr. Avi Katz and headquartered in Palo Alto, California. GigCapital promotes a Private-to-Public Equity model, in which its executives provide hands-on support to the target company through the listing process and afterward.

Like its predecessors, GigCapital9 is expected to look primarily at technology-oriented businesses, although it is not formally limited to a particular industry. Its Class A ordinary shares are listed on Nasdaq.
