GigCapital8 Corp. (GIW)

GigCapital8 Corp. is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company, formed to effect a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or similar business combination with one or more businesses. It has no commercial operations and keeps the proceeds of its initial public offering in a trust account until it completes a deal or liquidates.

The company is part of the GigCapital Global family of blank-check vehicles founded by Dr. Avi Katz and based in Palo Alto, California. GigCapital describes its model as a Private-to-Public Equity approach in which its team of experienced executives works closely with a target company before and after it becomes public.

Earlier GigCapital entities have focused on technology, media and telecommunications, and on related areas such as artificial intelligence, defense and sustainable industries. GigCapital8's Class A ordinary shares trade on Nasdaq.
