About ENGlobal Corporation
ENGlobal provided engineering and project execution services, mainly to the energy industry, in the U.S. and other countries. It handled engineering and project management for complex projects and reviewed contractors, suppliers and equipment makers.
The company also offered turnkey system packaging, modular fabrication and manufacturing. Its work covered instrument and electrical design with an emphasis on automation and control, plus engineering and integration for power, instrumentation, process and emissions systems, analytics and industrial HVAC. Clients came from oil and gas, petrochemicals, refining and terminals, renewables, government, and power and controls.
Formerly Industrial Data Systems Corporation, it became ENGlobal in June 2002. It was founded in 1985 and based in Houston, Texas. The company filed for Chapter 11 in the Southern District of Texas on March 5, 2025, and the plan was approved as a Chapter 11 liquidation on June 13, 2025.
Its shares were delisted from the Nasdaq in June 2025, with the last trade on June 18, 2025 at $0.01.
