About Banzai International, Inc.
Banzai International is a small software company that sells marketing and sales tools to businesses. Its best known product is Demio, a platform for hosting webinars and virtual events, and it later added video creation and editing tools through OpenReel and CreateStudio. The company says its products are used by more than 150,000 organizations. It is based on Bainbridge Island, near Seattle, Washington.
Banzai became a public company in December 2023 through a merger with 7GC & Co. Holdings II, a special purpose acquisition company, and its Class A common stock and warrants were listed on Nasdaq as BNZI and BNZIW. The shares fell sharply after the listing, and the company carried out reverse stock splits in July 2025 and again in May 2026, the latter a 1-for-20 split, to keep its listing.
Banzai grew by acquisition. It bought Vidello, a UK-based video platform company, in January 2025, and added ConnectAndSell, a sales calling and acceleration platform, effective July 2, 2026, a deal the company said roughly doubled its revenue base. Its business now runs as three units focused on sales acceleration, event and video platforms, and AI-driven video content. The deals added products and customers but also increased share dilution.
On August 6, 2026 the company announced a strategy built around AI agents and began doing business as Parabolic, with plans to change its legal name to Parabolic Technologies, Inc. subject to shareholder approval. Its stock and warrants started trading as PARA and PARAW on August 7, 2026, so the BNZI listing continues under the new symbol. Investors who held BNZI shares automatically hold PARA shares.
