Global X Bitcoin Covered Call ETF (BCCC)

The Global X Bitcoin Covered Call ETF (BCCC) is a Global X fund that combines exposure to bitcoin with an options-income strategy. It does not hold bitcoin directly; instead, it gains exposure through U.S.-listed exchange-traded products that track the price of bitcoin.

Alongside that exposure, the fund writes (sells) call options on bitcoin-linked exchange-traded products or related indexes. The premiums received from selling these calls are intended to generate income that the fund distributes to shareholders, typically on a monthly basis.

The trade-off of a covered call approach is that it caps much of the upside when bitcoin rises sharply, while the fund remains exposed to declines in the price of bitcoin, partly offset by the option premiums collected. Global X Management Company, the sponsor, is based in New York and is part of the Mirae Asset Financial Group.
