Amana Growth ETF (AMGR)

The Amana Growth ETF (AMGR) is an actively managed exchange-traded fund advised by Saturna Capital, the Bellingham, Washington-based firm that manages the Amana funds. It invests in growth-oriented stocks in accordance with Islamic investment principles.

The fund seeks long-term capital growth by holding companies its managers believe can expand revenue and earnings over time, with a focus on large, established businesses. Consistent with Islamic principles, it avoids companies primarily engaged in interest-based lending, alcohol, gambling, pork products and similar activities, and it screens out firms with excessive debt or interest income.

The fund applies the same faith-based approach as the long-established Amana mutual fund family. Its shares are listed on Nasdaq.
