VanEck Technology TruSector ETF (TRUT)

The VanEck Technology TruSector ETF (TRUT) is part of VanEck's TruSector series of U.S. sector funds. It invests in information technology companies, including semiconductor makers, software developers, IT services firms, and manufacturers of hardware and communications equipment.

Traditional cap-weighted technology funds are often dominated by a few mega-cap names. The TruSector series instead applies a rules-based methodology designed to provide a more representative exposure to the sector as a whole. The fund is sponsored by VanEck and trades on the Nasdaq.
