APEX Tech Acquisition Inc. (TRAD)

APEX Tech Acquisition Inc. is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company, incorporated in the Cayman Islands. It was formed to effect a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or similar business combination with one or more operating businesses.

The company completed its initial public offering in early 2026, selling units that later separated into ordinary shares and other securities, and the offering proceeds are held in a trust account pending a business combination. Despite the technology reference in its name, APEX Tech has stated that its search for a target will not be limited to any particular industry or geographic region.

As a blank-check company, it has no operating business or revenue of its own. Shareholders generally have the right to redeem their shares for a pro rata portion of the trust account in connection with a proposed deal or if no transaction is completed within the required time frame.
