The Metals Royalty Company Inc. (TMCR)

The Metals Royalty Company Inc. is a royalty company based in Calgary, Alberta, that acquires and manages royalties, streams and similar interests in metals and mineral projects. The company was formerly known as Low Carbon Royalties Inc. and adopted its current name in 2025.

Its principal asset is a royalty interest in the NORI area, a deep-sea polymetallic nodule project in the Clarion-Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean being developed by The Metals Company. The nodules contain nickel, cobalt, copper and manganese, metals used in batteries, electrification and industrial applications.

As a royalty holder, the company does not operate mines itself; instead it seeks to earn revenue from a share of production or sales from projects operated by others. Its common stock trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker TMCR.
