About Steel Connect Inc
Steel Connect, Inc. and its subsidiaries provided supply chain services in the U.S., Mainland China, the Netherlands, Singapore, the Czech Republic and elsewhere. Work included product configuration, packaging, kitting and assembling parts into finished goods, plus extras such as testing, RFID tagging, activation, language settings, engraving and packaging design.
It also handled fulfillment, including order management, pick-pack-ship, retail compliance and demand planning, and reverse logistics to ease returns for retailers and manufacturers. It ran a cloud-based e-commerce platform and offered warehousing, inventory management and software licensing and support.
Clients came from consumer electronics, telecom, computing and storage, software and content, packaged goods, health and personal care, retail and luxury, and connected devices. Incorporated in 1986 and based in New York, New York, it was called ModusLink Global Solutions, Inc. until February 2018.
Its shares were delisted from the Nasdaq in January 2025; the final trade was on January 2, 2025 at $12.18.
