Scorpio Gold Corporation is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company focused on gold properties in Nevada. Its principal asset has long been the Mineral Ridge gold property near Silver Peak in Esmeralda County. The property was previously run as an open-pit, heap-leach mining operation.

The company works to expand and define gold resources through drilling, technical studies and permitting. Its aim is to restart or advance production at its Nevada assets, and it has also added nearby exploration ground in the state.
