The PGIM S&P 500 Max Buffer ETF - August (PMAU) is a defined outcome ETF from PGIM. It aims to offer exposure to S&P 500 price returns with a buffer designed to protect against the full extent of index losses over a one-year outcome period starting each August.

The strategy is implemented with FLEX options. The cost of the protection is a cap on upside participation, which is reset at the beginning of each outcome period, and outcomes differ for investors who enter after the period has started.
