PIMCO Inflation PLUS Active Exchange-Traded Fund (PCPI)

The PIMCO Inflation PLUS Active Exchange-Traded Fund (PCPI) is an actively managed fixed income ETF from Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO). Its objective centers on preserving real purchasing power by investing primarily in inflation-linked debt, most notably U.S. Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities, whose principal adjusts with changes in consumer prices.

Following PIMCO's PLUS approach, the managers are not limited to replicating an inflation-linked bond index. They can adjust duration, position along the yield curve and use other fixed income instruments and derivatives in an effort to add return beyond a plain TIPS benchmark.

The fund trades on Nasdaq and offers its active inflation-focused bond strategy in an exchange-traded format.
