OceanLight Acquisition Corporation (OCLT)

OceanLight Acquisition Corporation (OCLT) is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company, whose ordinary shares trade on the Nasdaq. It was formed to raise capital through an initial public offering and then complete a merger, share exchange or other business combination with an operating business.

Prior to completing a transaction, the company has no business operations, and the money raised in its offering is held in a trust account. Public shareholders generally may redeem their shares for cash from the trust when a business combination is put to a vote or if no deal is completed within the permitted time.
