About NV5 Holdings, Inc. Warrants

NVEEW was the Nasdaq ticker for the public warrants of NV5 Holdings, Inc., an engineering, inspection and consulting firm that went public in 2013 by selling units made up of common stock and warrants. Each warrant gave the holder the right to buy one NV5 common share at $7.80 and was otherwise set to run until March 2018. The warrants traded separately from the common stock on Nasdaq after the units were split apart.

The warrant agreement let NV5 call the warrants once its stock had closed at or above $12.00 for 20 trading days. The shares cleared that level in December 2014, and on January 5, 2015 the company announced it would redeem all 412,414 outstanding public warrants. Holders had until 5:00 p.m. New York time on February 4, 2015 to exercise; the rest were redeemed for $0.01 each on February 5, and the warrants were removed from Nasdaq.

NV5's common stock, later NV5 Global under the symbol NVEE, grew through many acquisitions into a large testing, inspection and geospatial services company. In 2025 it was acquired by Acuren Corporation, so NVEE no longer trades. The early redemption brought cash into NV5 from warrant exercises and simplified its capital structure, leaving the common stock as its main publicly traded security.
