The GraniteShares YieldBOOST Gold Miners ETF (NUGY) is part of GraniteShares' YieldBOOST series of income-oriented funds and seeks to generate high current income from gold mining stock exposure.

The YieldBOOST approach generally involves selling put options on a leveraged ETF linked to the underlying theme, here gold mining companies, while holding short-term U.S. Treasuries as collateral. The premium collected is the main source of the fund's distributions.

This structure does not give full upside participation in gold miners, and the fund can lose value when gold mining shares fall sharply.
