NexMetals Mining Corp. (NEXM)

NexMetals Mining Corp. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company whose common stock trades on the Nasdaq under the ticker NEXM. The company was formerly known as Premium Nickel Resources Ltd.

NexMetals is focused on redeveloping the former Selebi and Selkirk nickel-copper-cobalt mines in Botswana, which were previously operated by state-linked companies before being placed on care and maintenance. The company is drilling and evaluating these deposits to define mineral resources and assess the potential to restart production.

Its strategy is to supply nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group metals used in batteries, electrical infrastructure and other energy transition applications from sites that already have existing infrastructure such as shafts, rail access and power connections.
