Yorkville Acquisition Corp. (MCGA)

Yorkville Acquisition Corp. is a special purpose acquisition company, also known as a blank-check company. It was formed to raise capital through an initial public offering and use it to complete a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or similar business combination with one or more operating businesses.

The company is associated with Yorkville Advisors, an investment management firm. It has no operating business of its own, and until a deal is completed the offering proceeds are generally held in a trust account, with public shareholders typically able to redeem their shares in connection with a proposed combination. Its Class A ordinary shares trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker MCGA.
