Melar Acquisition Corp. I (MACI)

Melar Acquisition Corp. I is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company. It was organized to raise capital through an initial public offering and use it to complete a merger, share exchange, asset acquisition or similar business combination with one or more operating businesses.

The company has no operating business of its own. Until a transaction is completed, the offering proceeds are typically held in a trust account, and public shareholders generally may redeem their shares in connection with a proposed combination. Its Class A ordinary shares trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker MACI.
