Galata Acquisition Corp. II (LATA)

Galata Acquisition Corp. II is a special purpose acquisition company, or blank-check company, formed to merge with or acquire one or more operating businesses. It is the second blank-check vehicle from its sponsor group; the first, Galata Acquisition Corp., combined with Marti Technologies, a Turkish mobility company.

The company has no operations of its own. It holds the proceeds of its initial public offering in a trust account while it searches for a target, and its Class A ordinary shares trade on the Nasdaq. Its SEC filings describe its management team and acquisition criteria.
