iShares LifePath Target Date 2070 ETF (ITDJ)

iShares LifePath Target Date 2070 ETF is a target date fund from BlackRock's iShares family built for investors who expect to retire around the year 2070. It invests in a mix of other iShares index ETFs covering U.S. and international stocks, bonds and other asset classes.

The fund follows a glide path in which its allocation gradually shifts from a growth-oriented, equity-heavy mix toward a more conservative blend with greater fixed income as the target year approaches. Because the target date is far in the future, the portfolio is weighted heavily toward equities in its early years. The allocation is based on BlackRock's LifePath index methodology.
