Global X U.S. 500 ETF (GXLC)

The Global X U.S. 500 ETF (GXLC) is an index fund sponsored by Global X ETFs. It seeks to track a benchmark of roughly 500 of the largest publicly traded companies in the United States, providing broad large-cap U.S. equity exposure.

The fund uses a passive approach, holding stocks in proportion to their weight in the underlying index, which is generally based on market capitalization. Its holdings span every major sector of the U.S. economy, including technology, health care, financials, consumer and industrial companies.

It is designed as a low-cost core equity holding within the Global X lineup.
