Fidelity Managed Futures ETF (FFUT)

Fidelity Managed Futures ETF (FFUT) is an actively managed alternative-strategy exchange-traded fund from Fidelity Investments, launched in 2025. It seeks capital appreciation through a managed futures, or trend-following, strategy.

The fund takes long and short positions in futures and forward contracts across several asset classes, which can include equity indexes, government bonds, currencies and commodities. Positions are sized according to observed price trends, with the aim of capturing persistent moves in either direction. Derivative exposure is typically obtained through a wholly owned subsidiary, while much of the fund's assets are held in cash, money market instruments and short-term Treasury bills as collateral.

Because it can be long or short in many markets, the strategy is designed to behave differently from a traditional stock and bond portfolio.
