FT Vest Dow Jones Internet & Target Income ETF (FDND)

The FT Vest Dow Jones Internet & Target Income ETF (FDND) is an actively managed fund from First Trust, with Vest Financial as sub-adviser. It seeks a targeted level of current income along with capital appreciation.

The fund invests in U.S. internet stocks in line with the Dow Jones Internet Composite Index, covering companies involved in e-commerce, online services and internet infrastructure. To generate income, it runs an options strategy that sells call options on the Nasdaq-100 Index or a related ETF, collecting premiums that fund its distributions.

Because the calls are written on a broad index rather than on its own holdings, the fund retains exposure to the internet stocks while using option premiums to pursue its income target. FDND launched in 2024.
