The First Trust Bloomberg Artificial Intelligence ETF (FAI) is an index fund from First Trust that provides exposure to companies involved in artificial intelligence.

The fund tracks a Bloomberg global artificial intelligence index. The index identifies companies with meaningful revenue and business activity tied to AI, such as semiconductor makers, cloud and data center providers, and software and internet companies developing AI applications, and weights the selected stocks by market capitalization.

FAI holds stocks from around the world and is passively managed, aiming to mirror the composition and performance of its index rather than relying on discretionary stock selection. The fund launched in 2024.
