About Dallasnews Corp
DallasNews Corporation and its subsidiaries published and sold newspapers in Texas. Its titles included The Dallas Morning News, the metropolitan paper The News, the online Spanish-language paper Al Dia, and the dallasnews.com digital site.
It also sold marketing and media services. These covered strategy and creative work, website management and content, paid search and social advertising on outside platforms, direct mail, promotional products, print inserts and streaming ads. It sold banner and display ads on its own sites, apps and social channels, and offered multi-channel marketing through subscriptions to its cloud-based software.
Other lines included commercial printing, distribution and shared mail packaging, plus Medium Giant, a full-service marketing agency. Known as A.H. Belo Corporation until June 2021, the company was founded in 1842 and based in Dallas, Texas.
Hearst Entertainment, Inc. acquired the company as of September 24, 2025. Its stock was delisted from the Nasdaq in September 2025, with the last trade on September 24, 2025 at $16.51.
