FT Vest Laddered Enhance & Moderate Buffer ETF (BUFX)

The FT Vest Laddered Enhance & Moderate Buffer ETF (BUFX) is a fund of funds that combines two FT Vest defined-outcome strategies. It holds a ladder of FT Vest U.S. equity enhance-and-buffer and moderate buffer ETFs with staggered outcome periods, each built from FLEX options on the S&P 500 or an S&P 500 ETF.

The enhance-style funds seek amplified participation in upside up to a cap, while the moderate buffer funds seek to absorb a portion of losses. Laddering the series across the year reduces dependence on a single reset date and blends the payoff profiles into one large-cap U.S. equity exposure.
