The Direxion Daily Bitcoin Bull 2X ETF (BTCU) seeks daily investment results equal to 200% of the daily performance of bitcoin. It is a leveraged fund that resets each day, so the 2x target applies to single-day returns only.

Over periods longer than one day, compounding can cause the fund's performance to diverge significantly from twice the return of bitcoin, especially in volatile markets. The fund gains its exposure through financial instruments such as swaps, futures or bitcoin exchange-traded products rather than holding bitcoin outright.
