The BNY Mellon Active Core Bond ETF (BKFI) is an actively managed fixed-income fund that aims to deliver total return and income from a diversified portfolio of mostly investment-grade bonds. It serves as a core bond holding rather than a specialized or niche exposure.

The managers can allocate among U.S. Treasuries, government agency debt, mortgage-backed and other securitized bonds, and corporate bonds, adjusting duration, sector mix and credit exposure based on their research and market views instead of following a fixed index.
