Blue Gold Limited (BGL)

Blue Gold Limited is a gold mining company focused on Ghana's Ashanti Gold Belt in West Africa. Its strategy is to acquire, refurbish, develop, finance, and operate gold mines in the region, centered on the Bogoso-Prestea gold mining project, a historically producing operation that the company plans to return to production.

The company was formed in 2023 and is incorporated in the Cayman Islands. It became a public company on Nasdaq in 2025 through a business combination with a special purpose acquisition company.

Blue Gold has also described plans to link physical gold production with digital gold products, using blockchain technology to offer tokens backed by gold. Its Class A ordinary shares trade under the ticker BGL.
