About Beacon Roofing Supply Inc
Beacon Roofing Supply, with its subsidiaries, distributed residential and commercial roofing and related building products in the U.S. and Canada. Its customers were contractors, home builders, building owners, lumberyards and retailers.
The roofing range covered asphalt shingles, metal, wood, tile and slate roofing, and low-slope systems such as PVC, TPO and EPDM. It also sold underlayment, flashing, ventilation and drainage products, sealants, fasteners and roof insulation boards.
Beyond roofing, it carried siding, decking and railing, lumber, skylights and windows, gutters and trim, drywall and insulation, plus tools, compressors, job site supplies, welding products and safety gear. The company was founded in 1928 and based in Herndon, Virginia.
QXO acquired Beacon on April 29, 2025 for $124.35 in cash per share, and it became a subsidiary of QXO, Inc. The last trade was on April 25, 2025 at $124.19.
