The Russell Investments Core Plus Bond ETF (BD) is an actively managed fixed-income fund sponsored by Russell Investments, the Seattle-based investment firm known for multi-asset solutions and its manager research capabilities.

The fund builds on a core of investment-grade U.S. bonds, such as government, agency, mortgage-backed and corporate securities, and can add "plus" sectors including high-yield bonds, emerging markets debt and other securitized or non-U.S. fixed income to widen the range of opportunities.

Russell's portfolio management approach adjusts interest-rate sensitivity, sector weights and credit exposure based on market conditions, and it may draw on the insights of specialist managers.
