BCP Investment Corporation is an externally managed, closed-end, non-diversified business development company that lends to and invests in U.S. middle-market companies. It is managed by an affiliate of BC Partners and was formed through the combination of predecessor BDCs managed by that group.

The company invests primarily in senior secured debt, including first lien, second lien, and unitranche loans, and also holds subordinated and mezzanine debt and selected equity co-investments. Its investments are typically made alongside private equity sponsors in companies across sectors such as healthcare, business services, manufacturing, logistics, media and telecommunications, and food and beverage.

As a business development company, it is required to distribute most of its taxable income to shareholders, and its portfolio is focused on generating current income. BCP Investment Corporation is based in New York City, and its shares trade on Nasdaq.
